Last night it was an honor to be crowned America's Mrs. 2010 and begin a year representing the America's Miss Pageants organization. Thank you judges!!! http://www.americasmiss.org/main.htm. The pageant week was filled with such wonderful energy, sisterhood and outings, sponsored by the pageant, which are memorable.

Many thanks to my husband and son for their unending support. What kept me going throughout the competition was the smile on my husband's face and the look of love and pride in his eyes and I have said thank you at least 150 times!!! The text from my son which read "killing it" was an inspiration!!! And to MY Sarah!!! You are such an inspiration lady. Thank you for taking off of work to support my dream. I owe you $100.00.

Many thanks to Claire (Mrs. NJ United States 2010), Ceylone (Mrs. NJ United States 2009), Rita-Ann (Mrs. Sussex County 2009), Patricia (Global US Classic Ms. 2011), my pageant Mom Dot (although not old enough to be my Mom), Dani (Mrs. Northeast Pennsylvania International 2010 - Dani, when did you write that card out?) and Susan (Mrs. PA United States 2010) - my pageant family - for their cheers and encouragement when I was doubting myself and for attending the pageant.

Many thanks to Michelle Anderson of Suited to You Pageant Coaching http://suitedtoyou.com/frame_main.htm, for her words of wisdom. Also for being on the computer and telephone with me until almost 1:00 a.m. on pageant morning, responding to my text messages all day on pageant day and then taking the 3+ hour ride to attend the pageant. Michelle, you ARE THE BEST PAGEANT COACH IN THE WORLD!!! I am lucky to have you! This was my last time competing, but I will surely recommend you!

Thank you Terrianne Lord Small for 1) putting on my eyelashes; 2) for being a very kind and friendly competitor; but most of all for being a great queen which made me step up my game!!! Terrianne, I look forward to a continued relationship/new friendship and I will send you those shoes!!! :)

Congratulations to Ali and Alison! We will have such a great year together and I look forward to supporting you and all of the wonderful appearances we will make together.

What made the week most memorable were the wonderful contestants - Mrs., Miss and Teens! Thanks to Autumn who lent me a gown for Red Carpet because I left mine back at the hotel...that was true panic mode and Autumn without hesitation came to my rescue. And, Autumn, for lending me your earrings right before I walked on stage for evening wear. That my dear shows what a great lady you are!!!!

Oh my Mary! Who went shopping for earrings for me without my even asking, came to my house to review wardrobe, responded to the endless emails and text messages and sent her endless support throughout the entire pageant prep and pageant day. Thank you Mary.

Thanks, with tears in my eyes, to Keia - Yes? and Sharon (America's Miss Pageants Executive Director and Founder). I am happy to be a part of your pageant family and cannot thank you enough for providing this wonderful experience. Thank you to my dear, dear friend Pandora! For helping me to get up at 5:30 a.m. for the gym (and no! I did not like it Pandora!!!!) or the 6:00 a.m. walks, the "no soda Evelyn", the unending encouragement and gaining so many votes for the People's Choice Award!!! Thank you Captain!!!!
