Happiness Camp

A true honor to visit Happiness Camp this afternoon. Thanks to Mr. Campbell for having us. Happiness Camp is a free camp for children with cancer. They may visit the camp for as many as 5 weeks, or as little as 1. The child who has cancer may also bring a sibling along...all for free. Many thanks to my dear, dear friend DonnaLyn and her husband Tom for attending, making the awesome speeches (Tom, you had them eating out of the palm of your hand) and for donating the 100 goodie bags. DonnaLyn and Tom know exactly what the children are going through. Tom spoke of chemo and one child was so anxious to say "I get my chemo through a port". We all cried and felt so good that we made a positive difference in a child's life today - if only for a minute!
